The National 4-H Meat Judging Contest was on Tuesday morning at the Kansas State University Meat Lab. The team was all dressed up and ready to do their best.The contest had teams competing from 15 different state, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Louisiana, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Wyoming.

The 4 hour drive from Stillwater to Manhattan took us 5+. We were amazed at how different it was from North Florida. We found a 4-H Camp on our travels north called Rock Springs 4-H Camp. We stopped for a quick visit.We thought the trees at the 4-H Camp were beautiful!!! We also played football in the parking lot to release some energy.

We gave the OSU football stadium a good Gator Chomp!Monday morning we practiced at the OSU meat lab. They had a variety of ID cuts and placings classes.Some of the cuts were a little larger than we have seen in Florida!We found a real cowboy to take a picture with!
